Introduction
This book is based upon my personal experience as a strawberry-grower. I have had about twelve years of growing the ordinary summer strawberries, the Alpines, and the everbearers, and I was in part responsible for the introduction of the last, in their popular commercial varieties, to English horticulture. The book is also based on the literature of the subject, which is considerable.
